Very simple to use does precisely what you’d expect it to do. Yes, you will eventually lose the o-rings that come with it. No, it’s not a big deal.

We use Kraft Tuscan House Italian salad Dressing for our Chicken and Turkey
marinade. The problem with that salad dressing is the herbs stick in most
injectors. We actually broke a cheap injector trying to squeeze it too hard!
    But this is the best

this is a well made heavy duty stainless steal meat injector. this is so much better then the cheap plastic injectors I’ve been using wished I bought this years ago. the needles are 6″ long & work very well. I don’t see any problems with cross threading when putting together like one reviewer have stated I guess it could happen if your not careful. this injector works great just remember to keep the rubber seal oiled I use vegetable oil that way the seal won’t roll up and come off. I think this was worth the money I would buy this again.

Let me start by saying that I don’t know what took me so long to find this. For years, every stinking year I bought a glass or plastic syringe to shoot the turkey up with homemade turkey stock at Thanksgiving. Every stinking year the glass or plastic would crack by the last baste if not before. This year I found this one. Worked perfectly, washed up great with a bottle brush and is very heavy duty. No glass or plastic to break. I will probably have this for years to come.

I know, the title is ridiculously long. But really, we raised 25 chickens last year and I have not liked cooking them. The breast meat was always sooooooo dry no matter how I cooked them. This little tool solved this problem!!!

As far as the tool, I used the needle without the additional holes and it worked great! It was easy to stab into the meat. And slurping up the brine was very easy since someone recommended using a narrow glass. Overall great little tool!

If you like to grill and smoke food, an injector is a must. Chicken, brisket, and other meats are juicier and more tender when liquid is injected before cooking. When I make chicken, I inject chicken broth into the breasts. It makes an amazing difference. I use apple juice with pork shoulder, and beef broth with brisket.

I bought two injectors – one for me, one for my son. I thought I would compare them, but this Bayou Classic and the one from Epica are identical and priced within a few cents of each other. However, the packaging is vastly different. The Epica comes in a blister pack and the Bayou comes in a tailored foam box. This protection treats the injector like a precision instrument. Buy this one.

Wow. Not sure but I think this is my first ever 5 star rating. This is a quality piece from size and materials, to price and packaging. Excellent quality stainless steel, machining of each component makes for fantastic fit all the pieces. Two syringe needles included; one with a single hole at the end and a large bore that allows for reasonably chunky marinade, and the other a narrower bore, perforated along its length for greater penetration of a smooth marinade. While the tight tolerances of the machining probably prevents any significant leakage, there are high quality (food grade) gaskets installed, and spares are included. As one would expect from such a high quality item, the packaging too, was excellent. It came securely cocooned in dense foam, sectioned precisely for each component, including concise, readable instructions.

I hate to bring up the past but I swear that when I was young & had to have cavities removed that the dentist used a very similar syringe to inject novocaine. Is it just me? Anyways, what an absolute beast of an injector! Works fantastic on any meat you plan on injecting with off the shelf marinades or that wonderful concoction you have toiled over that will set the bar higher on that smoked turkey. Yum! I can testify about injecting a turkey & smoking it…slap your mama good. The injector introduces flavor all through the meat where traditional methods pale in comparison. If you are looking for a means to get more bang to your taste buds, this is a great avenue to venture down. The injector is rock solid & highly durable. Easy to take apart for cleaning.
